Senior Logistics and Supply Chain Manager

For a Multinational Electronics Manufacturing and Distribution Company – Lebanon branch

University graduate: BA of Business Administration or related from well-reputed universities.

Minimum 10 years of regional professional Logistics and Supply Chain experience as Logistics Manager and Supply Chain Manager within well-established local or regional commercial or Logistics and Warehousing companies in Lebanon or in Europe.

Experience in working with relevant systems, ideally Microsoft Business Central as well as knowledge of transport and warehouse insurance. Strong expertise in air freight, road freight, customs clearance, pallet packing, and EU import processes.

Exposure to the European markets is a must.

Very good knowledge of EU trade regulations, transport legislation, and customs documentation is required.

In-depth knowledge of purchasing, inventory management and warehouse logistics processes and their efficient control.

Knowledge of various transportation methods (land, sea and air) and warehouse insurance.

Travel frequency is normal and as required to visit warehouses, suppliers, and logistics partners across different locations.

Analyze and evaluate supply chain, warehousing, shipping, and insurance costs to identify savings opportunities.

Manage end-to-end supply chain operations with a focus on timely customer deliveries, cost optimization, and compliance with insurance policies.

Oversee air freight and road freight operations, ensuring cost efficiency and compliance with transport regulations.

Manage customs clearance procedures for imports and exports, ensuring full adherence to EU and international trade laws.

Coordinate import processes into EU countries, ensuring smooth cross-border operations.

Work closely with the Order Processing Team to ensure efficient handling of customer orders, including delivery schedules and insurance verifications.

Cooperation with logistics partners in Europe and China to ensure punctual delivery dates and compliance with insurance requirements.

Analysis and adjustment of warehouse locations to reduce costs, including review of insurance cover.

Fluent in English. Additional languages are a plus such as German, French and Spanish
