Human Resources Officer

The Human Resources Officer plays a crucial role in managing the workforce of the hospitality and accommodation sector in Beirut, Lebanon. This position involves overseeing various HR functions, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive work environment. The HR Officer will be responsible for implementing HR strategies that align with the company's goals, enhancing employee engagement, and supporting organizational development.
Responsibilities
- Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening, and interviewing candidates.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local labor laws.
- Conduct employee onboarding and orientation programs to facilitate smooth integration into the company.
- Oversee employee performance management processes, including evaluations and feedback sessions.
- Address employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to resolve conflicts.
- Organize training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in the development of compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain talent.
- Monitor employee satisfaction and engagement through surveys and feedback mechanisms.
- Collaborate with management to develop strategies for workforce planning and talent management.
Preferred Candidate
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proven experience in HR management, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations in Lebanon.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
- Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.
- Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Excellent knowledge of Lebanese Labor Law & NSSF calculation.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic, English & French.
- Strong knowledge of HR policies and procedures.
- Proficiency in HR management systems and software.
- Ability to analyze data and generate reports.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Understanding of employee training and development techniques.
