The General Manager of a 5-star hotel in Beirut, Lebanon, plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and overall success of the establishment. This position requires a dynamic leader with extensive experience in the hospitality industry, capable of driving business growth while maintaining the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing strategies that enhance the hotel's reputation, optimize operational efficiency, and foster a positive work environment for staff.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance guest satisfaction and increase revenue.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure profitability.
- Lead and mentor department heads to achieve operational excellence and staff development.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers and local businesses.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
- Coordinate marketing and promotional activities to attract new guests and retain existing clientele.
