Job Scope

The Assistant Floor Manager is responsible to support the Floor Manager in overseeing daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring exceptional customer service, maintaining store presentation standards and driving sales performance.

Key Activities and Responsibilities

Store Management

• Maintain a strong presence on floor to ensure a proper functioning of the premises and maintenance of equipment

• Ensure accurate business functioning of the premises and maintenance of equipment

• Responsible for the smooth running of operations in case of opening, closing or renovating stands

• Propose business solutions to enhance the daily activities and endorse customer experience

• Assist the Floor Manager in setting the store sales targets and follow up on the progress

• Handle the open/end of day process

• Review and check the daily/monthly cash differences and raise any discrepancy for the needed action

• Follow up on the receiving, delivers and entry requests are occurring as per the policy and guidelines

• Ensure continuous follow up on the Department Store supplies, replenishments and accurate inventories

• Track the sales evolvement and identity the best solutions aiming to increase transactions and sales turnover

• Maintain proper display and visual merchandising standards to increase the store sales profit

• Supervise the POS activities and ensure accurate processing of transactions

• Attract new clients and extend the existing customer database 

• Ensure proper implementation of the security and safety measures in coordination with the Security Manager

• Coordinate with the soft utilities (cleaning and security) company to ensure an outstanding performance and service excellence on the floor and provide feedback accordingly

• Actively propose solutions for tenants and customers complaints and inquires to reinforce service standards 

• Ascertain that ABC Employees, tenants and their employees fully comply with ABC standards, policies and procedures and follow up on related issues accordingly

• Actively seek inputs from tenants/customers and efficiently address complaints to reinforce customer satisfaction and service excellence • Coordinate with the Technical department on the timely maintenance of pending issues at both levels – Operations and Tenants

• Participate in the preparation and execution of the preset projects while coordinating with the concerned parties aiming to achieve a successful result

• Assist in the preparation of the monthly metric reports related to safety, audits, mystery shopper, etc. and raise recommendations for development

• Follow up on the soft utilities (security and cleaning) companies monthly reports and suggest improvements as needed

• Train and mentor cashier on best practices for customer service, cash handling and transaction processing

• Ensure cashiers are knowledgeable about current promotions, store policies and procedures

• Monitor cashier performance and provide ongoing feedback and coaching to improve efficiency and accuracy

Store Sales Data 

• Assist in the analysis of the store sales data, performance target

• Analize store sales data to identify the latest trend for enhancement

• Analyze CRM data to identify the trends and opportunities to enhance customer engagement and loyalty

• Propose targeted marketing and communication strategies based on CRM insights to drive repeat business

• Utilize CRM software to track customer interaction and gather data on customer preferences and buying behavior

• Monitor key performance indicators such as conversion rates, average transaction value and customer satisfaction metrics

Stakeholders Relationship

• Establish solid relationships with tenants and ensure constant coordination for successful initiatives

• Build strong relationships with internal departments and ensure continuous communication for optimal achievements

• Coordinate with the Marketing team on the instore events, sales campaigns to drive traffic and enhance brand awareness

• Work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure guidelines implementations

• Coordinate with the Technical Department on the timely maintenance of pending issues at both levels Operations and Tenants

Others 

• Ensure compliance with authority matrix, code of conduct and ABC policies and procedures

• Remain up to date with the latest development and best practices in the field

• Perform other job-related duties as assigned based on business needs and in alignment with the Direct Manager
