Senior Accountant

Why do we need you ?

• Review and validate accounts payable invoices.
• Oversee cost control processes and establish costing for new items.
• Review and approve supplier payments.
• Manage fixed asset processing, capitalization, tracking, and reconciliation.
• Monitor projects under construction, including reconciliation and status reporting.
• Execute monthly depreciation runs and ensure reconciliations with the trial balance.
• Oversee inventory tracking, reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Record goods issues and receipts accurately.
• Handle supplier and customer reconciliation transactions.
• Manage intercompany transactions and coordinate with global counterparts.
• Prepare and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Participate in month-end closing and reporting activities.
• Manage prepaid expenses and provisions.
• Provide ad hoc financial reports and analysis to management as requested.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and support treasury operations.
• Assist in cash management and forecasting.
• Support external audit exercises and ensure timely completion.
• Assist with taxation matters and compliance requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of the anti-corruption report.
• Support inventory physical counts.
• Assist in preparing monthly sales commissions.
• Ensure proper filing and documentation within the finance department.

Is this job for you?

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Masters Degree or professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) preferred.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a multinational environment. Experience with Big 4 is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and compliance.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred).
• Advanced MS Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Team player with high integrity and attention to detail.
