Tenure-Track Assistant Professor in Bioinformatics/Computational Biology

The Department of Biology at the American University of Beirut (AUB) invites applications for one tenure-track assistant professor position in the area of bioinformatics/computational biology, to begin in August 2026.

The Department offers BS and MS degrees in Biology and a PhD degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Candidates with teaching experience in bioinformatics, population genetics/evolutionary theory, and interdisciplinary non-experimental research programs are especially encouraged to apply.

Competitive applicants will have postdoctoral experience, an independent research program, and strong research and teaching qualifications.
