Role Overview

The Data Management Consultant supports the delivery of data management projects across their full lifecycle for clients and internal initiatives. This role requires strong knowledge of Data management, and project management capabilities. This role requires planning, execution, monitoring of projects related to data management, whether internal or related to the client: The Consultant works closely with project leads, clients, and internal teams to ensure data management initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, and within Budget, while aligning outcomes with business objectives and maintaining high client satisfaction.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field
• 7+ years of progressive experience in data management, data consulting, data architecture, or enterprise data delivery roles
• Previous experience in delivering complex data programs end-to-end, including governance, integration, quality, and analytics enablement
• Knowledge in cloud and hybrid environments (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud/CDP, Snowflake, BigQuery, Azure Synapse, AWS data services)
• Hands-on expertise with data integration and orchestration tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, MuleSoft, or equivalent), including large-scale data migrations
• In-depth experience with relational databases and advanced SQL, performance optimization, and data modeling best practices
• Experience integrating CRM, ERP, marketing, and operational systems (e.g., Salesforce, Marketing Automation platforms, core business systems)
• Leadership experience establishing and enforcing data governance frameworks, data quality standards, master data management (MDM), and metadata practices
• Strong understanding of data security, privacy, and regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR or regional data protection regulations)
• Experience supporting executive-level reporting and analytics using trusted data foundations and BI platforms
• Experience managing delivery governance, scope, risks, and timelines using Agile or hybrid methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps)
• Fluency in English; French is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to travel when required

Responsibilities

• Project Manager on BI (Business Intelligence) or Tableau projects: Support the definition of project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success metrics aligned with business goals and client expectations
• Contribute to managing the project lifecycle for data management initiatives under the guidance of a project lead
• Assist in developing project plans, backlogs, timelines, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies
• Participate in data management activities such as data governance implementation, data quality initiatives, data migration, and data integration projects
• Prepare project documentation and ensure it is accurate and kept up to date
• Facilitate and participate in project meetings and workshops, ensuring clear communication and follow-up on action items
• Support budget tracking and resource coordination for assigned projects
• Act as a key day-to-day contact for clients on assigned workstreams, maintaining transparent communication and escalating risks when needed
• Ensure project management best practices and data management standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle
• Collaborate with internal teams and contribute to internal data-related initiatives and continuous improvement efforts
