Position Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Internal Audit Manager to lead and oversee the internal audit function for a diversified group of companies operating across Africa. The position is based in Beirut and requires strong regional exposure and strategic oversight capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement the group’s internal audit strategy and annual audit plan.

Lead financial, operational, and compliance audits across subsidiaries in Africa.

Evaluate internal controls, risk management systems, and governance processes.

Identify weaknesses and recommend corrective actions with practical solutions.

Monitor implementation of audit recommendations.

Coordinate with external auditors and senior management.

Report directly to the Board / Audit Committee.

Ensure compliance with international standards and local regulations.

Lead and mentor the internal audit team.

Requirements

Minimum 10–15 years of experience in auditing.

Mandatory experience in one of the Big Four firms (PwC, Deloitte, EY, or KPMG).

Strong experience in group-level audits and multi-country operations.

Experience in African markets is a strong advantage.

Professional certification preferred (CIA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent).

Strong leadership, analytical, and reporting skills.

High level of integrity and professional judgment.

Willingness to travel when required.

Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus)
