Senior Financial Controller

The Senior Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing financial management across multiple projects, ensuring accurate project costing, profitability tracking, compliance, and timely financial reporting to support operational and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review financial statements and project financial reports.

Monitor project budgets, costs, revenues, and margins; analyze variances and recommend corrective actions.

Manage project cash flow, billing, collections, and payment cycles.

Oversee inventory, work-in-progress (WIP), and project cost capitalization.

Ensure compliance with tax, contractual, donor, and regulatory requirements.

Support audits, internal controls, and project financial reviews.

Supervise the accounting team and ensure effective use of ERP and project management systems.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor s degree in Accounting or Finance; professional certification is an advantage.

Proven experience in accounting and financial control within a project-based environment.

Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Experience with ERP systems and project financial reporting.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with cross-functional project teams.
