Role Overview

The Runner is responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of food service between the kitchen and the dining area. He/she will support the service team by delivering dishes promptly, maintaining food presentation standards, and ensuring guests receive a seamless dining experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Service: Assist Waiter/Waitress in ensuring guests receive their meals promptly and correctly.
• Food Presentation & Quality: Verify that dishes are correctly plated, complete, and visually appealing before leaving the kitchen. Communicate any delays or special requests to Waiter/Waitress to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Compliance & Safety: Follow all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines. Handle plates, trays, and utensils safely to prevent accidents and ensure cleanliness at all times.
• Teamwork & Professionalism: Maintain personal grooming and uniform standards, demonstrate professionalism, and represent the company’s service culture positively.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred.
• Good communication skills and customer-focused attitude.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
