Role Overview

The Head Waiter/Waitress is a visible presence on the restaurant floor, leading service with confidence, warmth, and impeccable attention to detail. This role is instrumental in shaping the guest experience, ensuring service is intuitive, gracious, and flawlessly executed. Working closely with the Restaurant Manager, the Head Waiter/Waitress upholds the highest standards of Italian hospitality while guiding the team to deliver a seamless and refined dining journey.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Leadership: Leads the floor during service, setting the tone for elegance, pace, and attentiveness while ensuring every detail is executed to perfection
• Guest Recognition: Builds genuine rapport with guests, anticipates preferences, and handles requests with discretion and sophistication.
• Dining Mastery: Demonstrates a deep understanding of Italian cuisine, seasonal ingredients, and wine pairings, confidently guiding guests through the menu.
• Standards & Ambience: Safeguards the restaurant’s presentation and atmosphere, ensuring each element reflects the charm, authenticity, and excellence of Italian fine dining.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of fine dining experience, preferably in an Italian fine dining restaurant.
• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong sense of responsibility.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required.
