Regional Financial Controller

We are seeking to hire a "Regional Financial Controller" for a leading multi-national freight forward and logistics company. The position to be based in Lebanon and reporting to the global finance manager. Regional Financial Controller Duties and Responsibilities: - Support the regional finance team in setting standardized practices across the branches - Perform monthly trial balance variance analysis to verify accuracy and identify trends - Review the monthly currency revaluation process and provide feedback on risk exposure - Draft the monthly intercompany reconciliation - Prepare and monitor the monthly group AR and AP Aging Reports, and ensure compliance to the credit policy - Review business expenses spending to ensure alignment to policy - Ensure the companies compliance with all applicable tax regulations - Prepare Policies and Procedures to ensure financial operations are conducted uniformly and in accordance with established standards - Support in preparing the yearly business plan and forecasted budget - Coordinate with financial controllers to construct the Group Monthly Management Report - Engage in on-going cost reduction analysis and resources optimization - Build financial models to assess new investment feasibility in coordination with the Financial Analyst - Monitor working capital parameters to ensure liquidity and capital management and the annual audit process - Oversee the intercompany transactions between Group entities including offsetting balances, timely transfers and reconciliation of balances Regional Financial Controller Skills and Qualifications: - BA in Finance or Banking & Finance, MBA is a plus - CMA certification is a must - Excellent knowledge of MS. Office (Excel, Word, ppt, and vision) - 8 to 10 years of experience in financial auditing and control on a group or regional level - Excellent command of English - Advanced proficiency in financial reporting
