The Trade Marketing Supervisor plays a key role in strengthening the company s market presence by ensuring effective in-store execution, brand visibility, and alignment between marketing strategies and sales objectives.
The role acts as a bridge between Marketing, Sales, and Distribution, ensuring that trade marketing initiatives are effectively implemented across retail channels, while driving product visibility, promotional effectiveness, and overall brand performance at the point of sale.
Key Responsibilities
Trade Marketing Strategy & Execution
Develop and implement trade marketing plans aligned with commercial objectives
Translate brand strategies into effective in-store execution plans
Ensure consistency of brand presence across all retail channels
Support the rollout of trade campaigns and seasonal activations
In-Store Visibility & Merchandising
Design and implement in-store displays, POS materials, and merchandising guidelines
Ensure optimal shelf placement and product visibility across outlets
Monitor compliance with brand standards in retail environments
Enhance shopper experience through impactful visual merchandising
Promotions & Activation Management
Plan and execute retail promotions in coordination with Sales and distributors
Support product launches through in-store activation strategies
Monitor promotional performance and recommend improvements
Ensure timely execution of campaigns across all channels
Field Execution & Market Monitoring
Conduct regular store visits to assess execution quality and brand presence
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and promotional strategies
Gather market intelligence and customer insights
Provide feedback and recommendations to improve trade performance
Sales & Marketing Coordination
Work closely with Sales teams to align trade marketing initiatives with commercial targets
Coordinate with Marketing on brand positioning and campaign execution
Support distributors in implementing trade activities effectively
Ensure alignment between commercial priorities and brand objectives
Team Supervision & Management
Supervise and guide merchandisers across retail outlets
Ensure proper deployment and performance of field teams
Provide coaching and support to improve execution standards
Monitor KPIs related to merchandising and in-store performance
The ideal candidate is a dynamic and execution-focused trade marketing professional with strong field presence and a deep understanding of retail environments.
He/she combines commercial awareness with creativity, ensuring that brand strategies are effectively translated into impactful in-store execution, while driving visibility, sales performance, and market competitiveness.
