About ARM The Anti-Racism Movement (ARM) was launched in 2010 as a grassroots collective by young Lebanese feminist activists in collaboration with migrant and domestic workers. Our mission is to achieve social, economic, and gender justice for migrant workers and racialized groups in Lebanon — with a focus on migrant domestic worker women living under the oppressive kafala system.
We believe in migrant workers as leaders and agents of change. Our work is migrant-led or migrant-centred across advocacy, community building, organizing, and legal casework. We are currently a team of 25 people committed to a feminist ethics of care — for our work and our workplace.
