We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Accounting Manager to join our team at Gazorient S.A.L. in Beirut, Lebanon.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Beirut. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the company's accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, preparing financial statements, managing budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards. The role also involves financial analysis, cash flow management, fixed asset monitoring, and supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee daily accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.

Manage and review journal entries and accounting processes.

Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Monitor cash flow, financial performance, fixed assets, and internal controls.

Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards.

Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external stakeholders.

Provide financial analysis and actionable insights to support management decisions.

Implement and improve accounting procedures and reporting processes.

Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

MBA degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification preferred.

Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent are an advantage.

Minimum 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including managerial responsibilities.

Previous experience in the gas, LPG, energy, or related industry is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Proven experience in managing accounting operations and leading finance teams.

Excellent knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial compliance requirements.

Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial statements.

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

High attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
