Job Purpose

  • Responsible for providing strategic financial insights and analysis to drive business performance, profitability, and growth.
  • Responsible for supporting management with budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning while ensuring data integrity and actionable recommendations.
  • Responsible for partnering with internal stakeholders to guide informed, value-driven decisions.
  • Perform duties in accordance with Malia Group policies and procedures.

Duties And Responsibilities

On Strategic Business Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly reforecasts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and strategic priorities.
  • Build robust financial models, integrating scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate business risks and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights from models to support strategic initiatives, including investments, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures (feasibility studies, due diligence, structuring, and integration).

On Business Assessment & Performance Analysis

  • Deliver comprehensive monthly and quarterly performance reviews for management and the Board, covering P&L, cash flow, balance sheet, and key risk areas.
  • Conduct deep-dive variance analysis vs. budget and prior year, identifying root causes and providing recommendations that drive actionable decisions.
  • Perform profitability and margin analysis by product, channel, market, customer, and entity; identify opportunities for growth, efficiency improvements, and cost optimization.
  • Track trends in sales, margins, expenses, and working capital, proactively alerting management and proposing corrective or strategic actions.

On Commercial & Operational Support

  • Review and validate pricing structures, trade offers, and promotions to ensure achievement of targeted margins and overall profitability.
  • Design and maintain dashboards and KPIs that enable faster, evidence-based decision-making across brands and functions.
  • Recommend operational enhancements to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic growth initiatives.

On Risk Management & Compliance

  • Contribute to the development of strategic, operational, and financial risk mitigation plans; maintain an updated and actionable risk matrix.
  • Review legal contracts to assess financial implications and ensure alignment with internal policies.

On Data Integrity & Reporting Automation

  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of financial data in SAP and reporting systems.
  • Champion automation initiatives to free capacity for higher-value analysis and strategic decision support.

Education

BA in Finance, Accounting or Economics. Master’s Degree is a plus.

Experience

Minimum 4 years of experience in financial analyst
