Principal Civil Engineer

Working location

Site-based position across Saudi Arabia, with an 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off rotation. This role is specifically for a gold mining project.

Work schedule

Cycle: 8 weeks on, 2 weeks off

Base working hours: 48 hours per week, 6 days a week (as per KSA labour law)

Contract type

Minimum one-year contract with possible extension

Key responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering activities for a gold mining project
• Coordinate site-based operations across multiple locations in Saudi Arabia
• Ensure adherence to project schedules and best practices in mining infrastructure
• Manage and mentor site engineering teams
• International business travel may be required as per project needs

Requirements

• Total of 15 years of engineering experience
• At least 8 years of experience in mining, with a strong site-based background
• Mining experience is mandatory
• Experience in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable
