French Teacher

The Lead Teacher helps nurture and develop the knowledge, abilities and social skills of children between the ages of 2 months - 4 years and prepares them for kindergarten and primary school education.Key Responsibilities:Developing and implementing lessons/work schemes adhering to the KEY systemProviding a safe and stimulating environment that facilitates learningOrganizing and supervising play and work activities (for example reading, cooking, music, dancing etc.)Liaising with parents/ care givers and professionals (if need be) such as counselors, speech therapists and health visitorsDevelop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self- esteem and self-disciplineObserve each child daily to assess skills, interests, and needs and use this information to facilitate learning and growthEstablish a positive relationship with each child s family and share information about the child s day at the nurseryParticipate in staff meetings, nursery activities, events, and professional development sessions Education Qualification:Bachelor s Degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Child Psychology or kindergarten Teaching DegreeSkills:Empathy and considerationAdaptabilityCreativityPatienceResponsibilityEnergy and ResourcefulnessEnthusiasm and Humor
