Facilities Management Specialist

Role Description The Facilities Management Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Beirut, responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of building facilities. This position involves monitoring building systems, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The specialist will manage facility-related budgets, track expenses, and optimize resource usage to support efficient building operations. Daily tasks include supervising vendors and service providers, addressing occupant requests, and implementing energy management initiatives to improve sustainability and reduce costs. The role also requires regular inspections, documentation of facility performance, and collaboration with management to plan upgrades and improvements.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Building Management and Facility Management (FM) skills to oversee daily operations and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Candidates should possess experience in Building Maintenance, including scheduling, supervising, and evaluating preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Budgeting to manage facility-related costs, monitor expenditures, and support financial planning.
• Candidates should possess Energy Management skills to implement efficiency measures, track consumption, and support sustainability initiatives.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree or diploma in Facility Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field are beneficial.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work on-site and coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with building management systems (BMS), safety regulations, and vendor management is highly advantageous.
