Technical Accountant

Ascoma Insurance Advisor & Broker, a company of Chedid Capital Group, is looking for a Technical Accountant to oversee the financial and technical accounting operations for Ascoma International, ensuring accurate reporting, billing, and data control.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the administrative and financial management of Ascoma International’s operations in coordination with the Group Accounting department.
• Manage and monitor retrocessions.
• Handle import and reinsurance business (invoicing brokerage fees, monitoring payments, recording data in IT systems).
• Prepare dashboards and verify reports.
• Contribute to commercial and financial management in coordination with the Group’s Management Control department.
• Perform daily checks on data related to import account transactions in the production system.
• Supervise overall control of import accounts.
• Ensure overall control of the technical data from our subsidiaries in Africa.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance (accounting, auditing, etc.).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role; experience at a brokerage is a plus.
• Proficient in IT tools, especially Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, etc.).
• Fluency in French and Englis is required.
